I won Grand Prize, best in show at the 57th Fairhope Fine art festival in Fairhope, Al three years ago, it is one of the oldest juried shows in the nation. The day after, I visited Gees Bend on that Monday and spent half the day with all the quilters. Now my painting will be featured in the HBO series, Treme, 2nd season, filmed in my birth town New Orleans, LA. $2500.00
